  "I am so sorry for your greeting at Moutcha Bay Resort. Yes, the closed sign is up however this is more of an indication for our marina and restaurant services. We will get a secondary sign made as soon as possible to clarify the services available. Our RV campsites 1-9 are open and we do keep those available without water-service through the winter months, as well as our Chalets and Lodge Suite accommodations are kept open all fall and winter."

  I had a pretty good time at this resort with my family six years ago. So after checking out Nootka Marine Adventures website again, their website said that there are ""Waterfront Sites 1-9 available year round" and so I drove all the way to Moutcha Bay... only to find a "CLOSED" sign and a locked gate! Some staff were still there, but treated me like an idiot for entering the property because they said "The sign says we are closed!" "Yeah? Well your website says that you're open." Hmm.

  For gone fishing here for the last 6 years. They are typically booked up, and tend not to show a lot of appreciation for repeat customers. We come as a group and have spent close to $50,000 but that does not seem to mean that much to them after we have had a couple of issues with reservations. Other than the the staff is great.
